SNIC Leading initiatives during Covid-19

SNIC insurance took firm and swift measures to support its customers and the people of Bahrain adhering to the wise government directives and providing various financial relief initiatives during covid-19 pandemic and affirms its commitment to continueto do so.

Today we are happy to announce additional support to businesses and organizations with the extension of coverage for Property & Liability insurance including delivery risk extension supporting grocery stores and supermarkets. All Office insurance with Workmen’s Compensation Insurance coverextended to include 24 Hours Liability Extension to cover work from Home. On Marine Cargo Insurance, all marine imports transporting pharma products including medicine, medical equipment and machineryare offered with NIL deductible.  

This comes as a continuation of the several relief solutions offered since the outbreak of the virus.   In March 2020, product solutions on specific lines for the SME’s, was offered by extending the insurance period to new and existing clients for 3 months to make the policy cover period 15 months at no additional cost. Furthermore, on retail motor insurance SNIC offered 18 months period coverage for all newly registered vehicles for a premium of 12 months.

In May SNIC launched the Virtual Branch using Skiplino app to provide additional online options for improving the customer experience and implanting social distancing to limit the spread of Covid-19.

In addition, SNIC is proud to be the first local company covering private quarantine accommodation expenses relating to Corona virus and working closely with providers and clients on case management for positive cases providing the necessary follow up support.
